I am a creative writing and journalism student at Vancouver Island University (VIU). From writing long-form articles on harm reduction to photographing northern pygmy-owls on the mountainsides of Vancouver Island, I tell stories. So far, my work has been published in Maclean’s, The Malahat Review, Prairie Fire, and The Puritan (among others). I’m also the owner of Birds and Bark, a wildlife photography business, associate editor of The Navigator, VIU’s student press, and special projects lead at Island Crisis Care Society, a non-profit that provides housing to people in crisis.
My intent with this online portfolio is to showcase the work I’ve accomplished, my professional ethos, and my future goals.
