I’m a Regina-born writer and wildlife photographer living in Nanaimo, B.C. From writing poems on the opioid crisis to photographing northern pygmy-owls on the mountainsides of Vancouver Island, I tell stories. My work appears in Maclean’s, The Malahat Review, Prairie Fire, The Puritan, and The Maynard (among others). I’m the owner of Birds and Bark, a wildlife photography business, and media and communications assistant at Island Crisis Care Society, a non-profit that provides housing to people experiencing homelessness and mental health challenges. I recently completed a B.A. in creative writing and journalism at VIU. In the fall, I am starting an M.F.A. in creative writing at UBC.
